Services site with online shop and subscriptions
Advanta — case study
A Nottingham web studio selling design, hosting, email, e-commerce and consultancy — with a shop that takes payment for fixed-price services and monthly plans.
The project
What was needed
Advanta wanted to sell what it does at fixed prices, online, without a quote round-trip — a managed website plan, WordPress hosting by the month, emergency repair, support — alongside the bespoke work it quotes for. That means a real shop with recurring billing, not a brochure with a contact form.
It also needed the ordinary things done well: a page per service, a process page, FAQs, support, and a customer area for people who've bought a plan.

What this demonstrates
A technology business chose us for its own site
Advanta designs and hosts websites itself. It asked us to build its own — service pages, a shop with monthly plans, subscriptions and a customer area. A firm that knows exactly what good looks like trusting someone else with its shop front is a fair test, and one we'd rather show than describe.

On a phone
Built for the screen most people use
Most visitors to a site like this arrive on a phone, often on mobile data. Every page is designed for that first — readable, tappable, quick — and then scaled up to a desktop, not the other way round.
Technical notes
How it's built
Custom application rather than a template: the shop, subscriptions and dashboard are built for this business
Stripe for card payments, including recurring subscriptions and the webhooks that confirm them
Customer accounts and a dashboard behind a login
Fast, hand-built front end with per-page metadata and structured data
Where it is now
Live at advanta.pro, selling plans online.
