Fastspeed Legals
Legal services site, rebuilt from WordPress
A Cornwall firm that helps company directors deal with winding up petitions, CVAs, CCJs and HMRC debt — moved off WordPress onto a faster site it runs itself, with every old address still working.

The project
Fastspeed Legals had a WordPress site with fourteen articles that directors facing a winding up petition find through Google. The brief was a new site that keeps that search presence, speaks plainly to someone who has just had the letter, and makes the next step obvious: check your petition, or pick up the phone.
It also had to be easy to run day to day — the firm adding new articles and client testimonials itself, every enquiry landing somewhere it can be followed up, and nothing that needs constant updating behind the scenes.

What Bath IT built
Nine pages under a four-item menu — winding up petitions, other debt, about us, contact. Every page opens the same way, with checking a petition or calling the office one tap away.
Each WordPress address — all fourteen articles, the pages, categories and tags — redirects to its new home, so old links and search results still land on the right page.
The fourteen articles moved across with their search titles and descriptions, alongside 43 client testimonials. The firm adds new ones itself, and they're live straight away.
Enquiry forms go to the office inbox and are also kept in one list on the site, so a director who gets in touch is never lost in an email thread.
What this demonstrates
Moving off WordPress usually means losing something — old links, articles that rank, the habit of posting new ones. Here nothing was left behind: the articles moved with their search text, every old address points to its new page, and the firm still adds its own content. It went live on 28 September 2026.
Inside the site
The service page — plain words, one clear next step
Insight — fourteen articles, each with its own page
On a phone
A director who has just received a petition is often reading on a phone, away from a desk. Every page is designed for that first — readable, tappable, quick to load — then scaled up to a desktop.
