Builders, electricians, plumbers, landscapers

Websites for trades that make the phone ring

A website for a builder, electrician, plumber or landscaper from Bath IT starts at £495 for up to 5 pages. It says what you do and where, shows your work, and puts your number one tap away.

What you get

A site that does one job well

Most people looking for a tradesperson want to know three things: do you do this kind of job, do you cover my area, and can I ring you now. A good trade site answers those on the first screen and gets out of the way.

Your number, everywhere

A tap-to-call button that stays in reach on a phone, and your number in the header of every page.

The towns you cover

A clear list of the towns and villages you work in, written for the searches people actually make.

A gallery of jobs

Before and after photos of real work, grouped by type of job. Add new ones from your phone.

A quote request form

Job type, postcode and a description, sent straight to your inbox, with spam filtering built in.

Reviews from real customers

Put your best customer comments on the page, with their permission, next to the work they're about.

Easy to update from the van

Change a price, add a service or swap a photo from your phone between jobs. No developer needed.

Why Bath IT

Plain, practical, and local

Bath IT is Gary Blake, at 44 Bristol Road in Radstock. He has done hands-on technical work since 1996, and builds, hosts and secures every site himself. When you ring 07376 947 411, you talk to the person who built your site.

We build sites that do a job rather than show off. Fastspeed Legals came to us off WordPress, and Selby & Mills is another practical business site we built. The aim each time is the same: a site the owner can keep up to date without help.

Typical build time is two to four weeks. There is no contract and no exit fee.

Questions

Questions tradespeople ask

How much does a website for a builder or electrician cost?

With Bath IT, £495 for up to 5 pages or £895 for up to 10, as a one-off. Hosting is £100 a year on Essentials, with no contract and no exit fee.

Can I add photos of jobs from my phone?

Yes. You can log in from your phone, add before-and-after photos to the gallery and write a line about the job. The photos are resized for you so the page stays quick.

Will it help me get found in nearby towns?

We write a clear list of the towns and villages you cover, and a page for each main service, so the site matches what people search for. Nobody can promise a position on Google, and we won't.

Can customers send me photos with a quote request?

The quote form can ask for the job type, postcode and a description, and lands in your inbox. Ask us about adding a photo upload when we quote.

I already have a website. Can you move it?

Yes, for £300 on top of the build price. We copy your content and photos across and redirect the old addresses so Google still finds you.

See your new homepage first

Tell us your trade and the area you cover, and we'll mock up a homepage for free.
